BIFM members benefit from Facilities Show 2012 exhibiting discount

BIFM members will once again benefit from a 10% discount on booking rates at Facilities Show 2012 as part of its ongoing partnership with the leading FM trade exhibition of the year.

Due to the spectacular growth of the 2011 show, Facilities Show will this year be located in it’s own hall (hall 2), having previously shared an entrance with Safety & Health Expo. Either side of this will be the co-located Safety & Health Expo in hall 1 and IFSEC International in halls 3a, 4 and 5.

In line with its phenomenal growth and research conducted with visitors, Facilities Show will introduce the brand new CPD Seminar Theatre in association with the BIFM. As the industry becomes ever more fast paced and subject to increasing levels of legislation, the need for continuing professional development is essential for all ambitious facilities managers. This revised content will reflect a move within the FM industry towards increased professionalisation and officially recognised development.

Visitor research also highlighted a demand for increased content on sustainability. Therefore, the Sustainable FM Academy seminar theatre will return within a bigger and better Energy Management Zone. Also on the theme of sustainability, Facilities Show 2012 has announced, for the first time ever, it’s partnership with leading waste management company, SITA UK. The combination of these two industry heavyweights will offer visitors the most comprehensive waste management content ever seen at Facilities Show. As part of this new partnership, SITA UK will supply 15 recycling stations around the event to gather and dispose of waste during the three show days. Adrian Clarke, Director of Sales has emphasised the importance of recycling and waste for facilities managers:
